A little update…

Wow, it’s so difficult to fine the time to work and have a relationship and a social life AND blog! Have nothing but utmost respect and admiration for those who manage it on the regs. Where do you get your energy and organisational skills – and can I borrow your brain??

I’ve landed myself a wee new job recently, and am absolutely loving it. I’m now Production Editor on CrossStitcher magazine, writing about all things crafty and stitchy. For those who’ve never picked up a copy, it’s a fresh, modern stitching magazine for contemporary crafters – no patterns of teddy bears or hedgehogs on our pages!

Here are a few sneak previews from our September cover shoot – it was the first-ever cover shoot I’d ever been on, and I had fun playing around with pretty props all morning.

I’m feeling really inspired and positive right now and it’s a great place to be – as cringe-inducingly cheesy as that sounds. Now please can we just sort out this bloody rain?

*Massive thanks to Charlie, aka The Savvy Crafter and CrossStitcher’s commissioning editor, who took the photos!
